Green-Wood Cemetery, Brooklyn, NY

More than a working cemetery of New York notables, Green-Wood is also an expansive natural refuge, part serene park, part wildlife sanctuary. The cemetery has developed an ambitious program of performances, talks, exhibitions, and tours that highlight its unique status in the cultural landscape. Designing the Annual Report and members’ magazine connected to our personal interest in gravestone history and design, and provided an excuse to explore and photograph the cemetery. Both pieces followed Green-Wood’s existing graphic identity.
